Street Food
By now a much-loved tradition at Slow Food’s events, the Street Food area is back at Slow Fish for the second time following its hugely successful debut in 2009. Naturally, the focus is on seafood, with Ligurian specialties featured prominently.
The Street Food area is the ultimate expression of local and traditional culture, of non-standardized, tasty, fresh and seasonal food, in other words: the antithesis of fast food.
The street foods on offer at our events have been chosen to represent ancient elements of gastronomy firmly rooted in their home cultures, yet able to adapt to modern eating habits while still keeping their traditional characteristics, flavors and principles.
